Our Mission

Our mission aims to bridge the gap between our current purpose and our vision of the future.

Our mission should be “present day”, although it doesn’t need to be “everlasting” (missions can and should change!). You may consider this the “here and now” for the next 3-10 years. It aims to make the otherwise broad and somewhat abstract purpose concepts into a more concrete and objective goal for the company to focus on and build goals around.

Today, we don’t have a one sentence mission statement (it’s a work in progress!) because it may change ever so slightly in the coming weeks while we work on final wording. Neil is talking 1 on 1 with all of you to get your inputs on this very topic so we can, together, make something great!

Nevertheless, we feel we know the essence of what our mission is, compiled from a few ideas back to our origins:

  • We will build technology products

    • Technology has always been our love and we don’t see a day in the future where we won’t be using and building technology in meaningful ways.

  • We will target B2C to SMBs

    • “Helping the little guy” has always been a passion of ours. Blazing SEO (rebranded to Rayobyte) focused on such target market and it was what led to our success today that has got us in front of Fortune 500 companies that we work with. We resist the idea to ‘sell our soul’ to bigger paychecks, because at the end of the day we’re not in it for the money… we want to help as many people as possible bring their great ideas to life, and to do that, this target market helps us achieve that. See FAQ here for more.

  • We will be operating and building our proxy and scraping brand for the foreseeable future

    • This may not be our only product, because like our customers, we, too, want to bring our great ideas to life which means we will never be a “one product pony” (proxies+scraping). We will build more products in the future - heck, maybe even this year! - but those will be R&D efforts alongside proxies and scraping, not the primary product itself for today.
